Most desk lamps point one way. This one bends wherever the work is, over a book, across a keyboard, up into a corner, and holds the position without a clamp or a joint that loosens over time.
The details that make it work
Twenty LED beads spread evenly along the shade keep the light soft rather than pinpoint, and three brightness levels mean you can dial it down for late reading without it feeling like an overhead light. The neck is a 360-degree flexible tube that bends and holds in any position, on a rounded base weighted enough to sit still on a desk.
It charges by USB-C and runs up to 15 hours on a full charge from its 1200mAh battery, with touch control built into the base. No UK adapter is included, any standard 5V USB-C adaptor works.
