Glass Bauhaus Ring Shade Pendant Light

Bauhaus design earned its reputation on primary colour and geometric confidence. We kept the shape and softened the palette, a faceted glass shade in four tones that read as considered rather than novelty.

The details that make it work

The shade is frosted glass in a bold geometric form, letting light pass through as a soft, even glow rather than a hard point source, there's no visible bulb from any angle. The base comes in black, warm beige or red, so the fitting reads as considered hardware rather than an afterthought.

It's wired for a standard G9 fitting and works with any LED bulb (bulb not included), with an adjustable cord so you can set the drop height to the room rather than the fixture.

Where it fits in

Best hung over a dining table or kitchen island, at roughly 75–85cm above the surface, low enough to feel intimate, high enough to stay out of the way. Not one for a seating area, where a downward-facing shade leaves faces in shadow.
