A rotating glass front holds coloured sand between two panes. Turn it, and the sand falls into a new landscape of dunes and ridges, no two turns settle the same way. Behind the glass, a warm LED lights the sand from within, so the pattern glows rather than just sits there. The body is acrylic and coated iron, built to take the handling a lamp you keep fiddling with actually gets.
