A wide dome shade on a spherical base is the mushroom lamp taken further, more shade, more spread, and a base substantial enough to anchor it properly on a desk.
The details that make it work
The wide shade distributes light evenly across the entire work surface rather than pooling in one spot, and the compact footprint means it's easy to reposition between a desk, a sideboard, and a bedside table without it ever looking out of place.
Where it fits in
Anywhere that needs a soft, even wash of light rather than a directional beam, a desk corner, a reading chair, a console table by the door.
The specifics
- Type: Table lamp
