The details that make it work
The base and stand are rubberwood, warm-toned and solid enough to anchor a desk without sliding around. The metal shade tilts and rotates so you can point light exactly where a page or a keyboard needs it, and three light modes (white, neutral, warm) mean it works for both focused reading and winding down.
Where it fits in
A desk, obviously, but also a bedside table where you want reading light that doesn't flood the whole room. Takes a standard E27 bulb, so swapping colour temperature later is a bulb change, not a new lamp.
