Animal-shaped novelty lamps usually look cheap the moment the light goes on. This one doesn't, a stained-glass-look surface in resin and metal throws a kaleidoscope of colour instead of a flat silhouette.

Each figure is cast in detailed resin and metal with a coloured glass-look surface, lit from within by a soft LED that turns the whole shape into the light source rather than just the bulb behind it. Fifteen animal designs are available, each with its own palette.

It runs from a simple USB interface, no hardwiring, no batteries to replace, just plug in and switch on.
